The title may go misleading for most or non-understandable. I am using a cheat table for RE2R for PC. This is for those who have a Cheat Table which allows you to edit your character in game. This format is for cheat table scripts. I will not go into detail on how the cheat tables run scripts. Anyways if you have a script cheat table for character swapping on RE2R then this is for you.
This list is for RE2R Update Version 1.02-1.04, anything below update 1.02 you will encounter issues, such as crashes and or invisible players etc.
For those too lazy to find a working table, or creating one, I have provided one for you that has all the updated values listed below. Be sure to choose the correct one for your game version.
Character Swap Editor's
1. Steam RE2R Character Editor for Update 1.04: HERE
- 1.04 Does not support [Custom Loadout]
2. Denuvoless [Steam/Codex/Cracked] RE2R Character Editor for Update 1.02: HERE
- 1.02 Does not support [Custom Loadout, Custom Stance, Custom Voice]
-Credit to Cielos for the original Character Swap Mod Script (Original Steam RE2R Update 1.04)
-Credit to kennean for the Denuvo-less Character Swap Mod Script (Acidental Steam exe/Codex/Cracked RE2R Update 1.02)
-Credit to me (CabooseSayzWTF for HOURS of testing every possible vaule/id to bring you a updated Character/Costume list.
How do you use the Character Editor? Well firstly make sure you grab one for your game version or it wont work.
1. Run RE2R, once on the mainmenu set the game to windowed mode then TAB OUT (Tab + Shift), if that doesnt work, do CTRL + ALT + DELETE and open task manager.
- Do not click the game window once task manager is open or if you tab out, instead open the cheat table in Cheat Engine, once open in cheat engine, open re2.exe process.
2. Now Click enable, assuming you have the correct character editor, once you click enable you should see the tab that says Character Swap Mod, click it, then click custom character/costume/stance/voice etc and make your changes as you wish. Just remember to re-load a save after you make your changes so they take affect.
Q/A For The Character Editor
1. Why does the Character Editor not work when I click Enable. Nothing Happenes it just shows enable in yellow.
Answer: That's because a few reasons,
-1. It's not compatible with your game version, could be the region of the exe, it could be the game update version.
-2. You have to connect the re2.exe process once on mainmenu on first boot and not in game, it could work while in game however i've noticed the enable function not to always work properly once in game.
-3. For some reason if you close the table by accident meaning close cheat engine then try to enable the script even on mainmenu it won't enable, you will have to close the entire game down then repeat (How do you use the character editor steps)
2. Why do I get a error message showing blah blah blah nil value.
Answer: That's because your exe/game version is not compatible with the script. Can I manually update it for your game version/ exe. No I can't, that's beyond my knowledge.

Cielos/Kennean Notes on the Character Swap Mod
usage: activate the script, choose the character model, stance, loadout, and/or costume, load a savegame.
- for now, you should only change Leon/HUNK to a male character, Claire/Ada to a female character, Sherry to Emma, or the skeleton may not match, results in a weird body feature.
- when the "custom stance" is default, that means your controlling character would use the stance of the supposed character of the game. i.e., when you're playing Claire A run, and you changed Claire to Ada: setting stance to "default" means the controlling character (now Ada) would use the stance of Claire; setting stance to "Ada Wong" would means the controlling character would use the stance of Ada.
- the "custom loadout" you chose for the controlling character would affect the visual equipment loadout. e.g., if you change Claire to Ada, and set the "custom loadout" to Ada Wong, the knife and grenades would be hidden accordingly, and her unique gun (Broom Hc), if you have add it to the inventory manually, would be holstered correctly in her holster when you change to another weapon from it.
- note that some character specific weapon would ignore the stance you chose, e.g., Leon's "M19" and Claire's "Quickdraw Army Revolver".
- Custom Loadout is not in either of the cheat tables due to them not working properly or causing conflictions with the script as a whole, thus why it was removed.
- also some characters don't have all the gun-firing animation ready, if a character is showing weird animation when aiming/firing, choose a different stance, or just use "default", then reload the savegame.
- activate voice script, and you can force a custom voice to your character.
-- it doesn't affect the dialogue.
-- only the character voice that is loaded by the game would work as intended. e.g. in Leon campaign, you can only use Ada or Leon voice. any other voice you chose would be silent.
- an example usage: use a mod to change Leon to Ada, then you can use this script to change Leon to any other female character with the proper female skeleton, for example, Claire, by changing Leon to Claire under the [custom model], then choose "Claire Tank Top (Slight Dirty)" for Claire under [costumes] then choose Claire for both custom stance and custom loadout, then set custom voice to Ada, so that you won't have Leon's male voice. then load, or reload a Leon savegame.
