Play Claire through out Leon's Campaign Known issues In some cut scene's Claire's model is stretched / distorted - this is due to the fact that the motion capture data is mapped to the models geometry, thus Claires model gets stretched to fit the geometry of Leon's model. Tho it is possible to swap the motion capture files, this only works correctly where the 2 characters have identically opposing cut scene's. for all other scenes only the motion capture files for the head and hair are swapped. The facial motion is static, else the animations are out of sync with the dialog which looks bad, Head, eyes and hair still animate. In some scenes the props appear out of position, again this is due to the differences in the geometry of the 2 characters. Game play wise all model and facial animations should be working correctly

I'm currently working through the the cut scene's (there are 138 of them) to identify which files belong to which scene's and then play testing each scene to see which ones can be swapped. As far as the stretching / distortion of the model go's, there is currently no way to fix it.
It would require an expert who can reverse engineer the motion capture data files and import them into an application that can extract the raw data and remap it to a new model. Highly unlikely to happen.
When finished it will hopefully work with other compatible Claire costume / model mods, for example swapping Leon for say Claire's sexy sheriff mod.
The positioning of props and other minor defects can possibly be fixed, but since its only in the cutscene's, its probaly not worth the time and effort.
As long as its fully playable I will be happy.

There is an issue with some of the in game dialog not playing. I believe this is a result of swapping Leon's in game Animations for Claire's. fixing this will likely require the swapping of sound / dialog files. which is gonna require more research.
If anyone wants to help / assist with this, I'm all ears.

Play Claire through out Leon's Campaign Is your mod identical to my Cleon mod or are you trying to do something different?

Main differences atm, I am not planning on swapping all of Leon's costumes with Claire's. So you can still play as Leon without uninstalling mod. I'm swapping Cut Scene's where possible to correct model stretching / distortion.
I've not come across the Knife by the feet bug yet.
Was originally planned for personal use after the the crashing failure of the model swap via Trainer.

from my experience: - Trying to play as Leon without uninstalling is just not going to be doable without bugs. Because you either give him male or female animations, he'll look funny with Claire's animations. - Are you talking about stretching of the face or the body. if the face my mod already covers that. If the body, then as you've said there's no way to fix that. - You won't come across the knife by the feet bug unless you're swapping noir costumes because leon's noir has knife on the back, while claire's noir doesn't support it.

True Leon will not play well with Claire's Animations. Some of the cut scene's can be completely swapped (Leon's for Clare's) thus eliminating All stretching where the 2 characters have Identical scene's like when you first enter the gas station shop. others not so much as the motion capture data is also mapped with the models position within the scene which results in Leon getting teleported to Claire's position in the scene. I have hit the knife bug on another character mod i'm working on, and its not just the knife, grenades are also placed by the feet. tho it should be possible to re position them.

Hey MaVeRicK I'am 99.9% certain that the data for the rendering / visibility /positioning of Weapons and Sub Weapons is located in the .mdf2 file for each model / costume. Looking throgh the mdf2 in HxD there is a lot of ASCII data referencing every single asset attached to the model. during testing I swapped the .mdf2, .mesh, and textures for Leon's Arklay Sheriff with those of another character and rename the id's. all other files from the arklay sheriff dlc remained unaltered. the model swap worked perfectly, except weapons disappeared when not in use and the knife was on the floor between the feet. so the data has to be in the .mdf2. Decoding the data and finding which bits to edit is a whole other problem😒

The mesh itself has location of knife and such.
Edit: nope swapping mdf2 files didn't do anything for me.
btw Arklay Sheriff by default doesn't show weapons on the back. Only shows knife\grenades.
