Could a modder make a mod that disables that flashing black flickering you see when you are about to die. I dont know why the developers put it in there....We want to see the deaths not be hidden at the end of the death animation lol. Pray someone is able to do this.

If you know how to use MT Framework you can adjust the camera to where you want and then lock it. It also removes the blackout of the gameover screen if youre in a well lit area.

Yea framework helped me with getting the death animation camera. Only thing thats in the way now is that annoying black flickering when you are about to die. Once thats out of the way. Viola! lol

+1 that is absolutely infuriating. Letterbox would be okay? I've been playing Revs1 a lot lately and something to indicate that waggling the controller is useless is neat but it's freaking annoying. (to differentiate between getting normal grabbed and getting 1-hit grabbed. There's usually a few second delay where someone could save you from a towel-twist, neck suck, or tubby chainsaw...
Idk why in re5 and re6 you can call for help but in Revs 1 you can't call out, then in Revs2 I recall it being like re5 and re6, then in RE2make they seemed to take Revs 1 death scene style and add the flickering. It's just, serious, rage inducing. I assume it's a type of censorship?
Either remove the flickering or just let us skip it. It feels too long anyway after how long the grab animations already are. I think on average what, re4, 5, 6, revs 1,2, death animations are at most 5 seconds or so? RE2make they feel like they take forever.

You can actually do this using Camera Tools by Otis Inf and Jim2Point0Just hit the DEL key to disable your HUD and there will be no more blackouts when you die. You can also use the tool freeze time and swoop the camera all around during cutscenes, zombie bites and death animations. Not only that but you can combine it with the Free Cam mod to leave the camera in one position as you move the camera light around independently from the camera. From a paused cutscene:

But that's just a workaround, it would be great to have a mod which plays the game as normal but there would be no flickering on the death scenes.
I can do it myself but just don't know where to start, maybe those tools might give some clues though...
