There is something ironically funny about someone calling themself "businessman" while thinking $30 would be enough motivation for someone to work on a specific mod.

Paying people who have to take (Time) out of their day to do a mod, shows appreciation. If I was a modder I would love to receive payment. Even if its minor. It shows my time paid off, when it could have been invested into something else. Modding takes alot of skill and time to do, which makes it a talent. Mastering your craft and getting some form of payment from it makes you feel good about your accomplishment, but just like most things in this world alot of people love (hand outs) and freebies, because they feel like they shouldn't have to pay for something that they think shouldn't have to be paid for.
I'v paid modders all the time. Mainly on Nexus. I have no issue with it. I thought by joining here, modders would be similar to those on Nexus, but now i see its not the case. To each is their own. If the modders here choose to work for free, im not against it and respect that. This is just something im use to doing, as appreciation.

It's something this forum hasn't been supportive of, as we try to keep on "capcom's good side" so to say. so we don't support nude mods, and we don't promote people paying for mods. We're trying to stay clear of anything that might cause a C&D/DMCA takedown. I've seen people comission others for mods before, but it's not a common practice on this site. A lot of people here that make mods, make mods of the things they want to see in the game and then release it for others to enjoy too, or because they just like doing modding. and not so much for the monetary gain.
