I found ways to make it a bit more playable, but unfortunately, there are plenty of places in the game where it breaks in a way I couldn't find an easy fix for. If one wants to do a full playthrough as another character, you will have to periodically change character before certain events.
The only bright side is that's 100% stable for the Hunk and Tofu modes. Maybe it will work well with the future Ghost Survivor episodes too.
Download the latest version. I'm working on the trainer now so hopefully that will be done later tonight or tomorrow.
Just set that as his default outfit in the costumes menu (though you might need to unlock it first).

From my own understanding since I messed around as Sherry and Ada with Zealot's no clip mod, each character is its own "entity" in the game's world. As such, when a cutscene spawn, the main character (Claire/Leon)'s prefab is specifically called into the cutscene's location to play the animations. The cutscenes ask for character-specific prefab for both the animations and the new locations the player spawn at the end.
As such, should you be any other character that isn't involved in the cutscene, the teleport at the end won't be applied to you, thus causing an issue.
A few examples:
If you're playing as Ada when you reach the monitor room in the sewer, after the cutscene you'll spawn inside the locked room since the cutscene tasked Ada's prefab to "spawn" there at the end.
Being Ada when you encounter Annette in the lab make her being completely ignored during the cutscene and at the end instead of spawning in the boss arena, I was stuck on top firing him at the distance... Because the game tasked Leon to be teleported down there, not any other character. I stayed exactly where the cutscene triggered.

I used x64dbg and Cheat Engine to find values I figured would be related, and figured out what code snippets write/read those addresses, and then started digging through the code. I don't have any special tricks I use. A lot of it is educated guesswork as to how the game works.
